i am want to trie out Atutor, butt it get stuck on the Safe mode thing
Atutor wants it on, but my profider keeps it off, and i hear du security more profiders are setting it to off.
is ther a other way, i have tried Claroline and that works.

Safe mode needs to be off for ATutor.

I tryed to make it with save mode on by modifying the script.
The result was so bad that ATuter was getting just not correctly running.

If you are asking for help, provide lots of detail so problems can be reproduced.
Things to describe:
operating system -
version of ATutor -Beta
versions of php -5
version of mysq l -5
webserver & version -apache
copies of error messages -
changes to default settings -
web browser being used -firefox and IE
and anything else relevant -
Safe mode, i just want to tell you that i think it become a problem in the futer there for more and more profider are setting this safe mod. here in the netherlands you gett wenn you ask for it, it is a security issue.
i have installed docebo, and claroline and here i have no problems.
i hope that the programmers will think about it,

I think the providers should give theyr users the possibilitie to select the Save mode.
As I know it is not danger at all. There much more dangerous things in the hosting than save mode.

There's not much chance we'll change the Safemode off requirement. There are too many features in ATutor that would not function with it on (anything to do with creating or uploading file would be lost)
You can try installing ATutor with safemode on by commenting out the check in the installer
