    Master Student List after some students enrolled

    Things to describe:
    operating system - XP
    version of ATutor - 1.5.3
    versions of php - ?
    version of mysq l - ?
    webserver & version - ?
    copies of error messages -
    changes to default settings -
    web browser being used - IE
    and anything else relevant -
    -----------------------------------------------------------
    We are just starting out and have moved our students from WebCT to ATutor. We would like to take advantage of the Master Student List feature, but I am unsure of how to implement it after I already have students enrolled in courses. Any suggestions?

    The master student list will only affect future registration. Current existing students will not be affected.

    Okay, but how to I assign Student IDs to students already enrolled?

    Sorry, I am not sure why you would want to assign Student ID to students that are already enrolled.

    However, if they are already enrolled, they do not need to register again and hence, they do not need to use the Student ID for authorization.

    (1) We need to track our students better and (2) we need to make sure people are not registering and taking our courses without paying.

    To assign Student IDs to students already enrolled, you will have to go into the database and add their IDs in manually.
