  Instructors tests and groups

  Is it possible to restrict an instructor to a specific group. I would like to have certain instructors only view the test results of a group that they would moderate. Is this possible?

  Yes, if you create an assistant, assign them all privileges the main instructor has except group privileges, then manually add that person to a group like you would add students.
  
  You can not assign the main instructor to a particular group.

  Unfortunately when testing this out it doesn't seem to achieve my objective.
  
  I create an assistant (with test priveleges but not group priveleges) which I add to group A but unfortunately they can see test submissions by students in Group B.
  
  What I am looking for is the assistant in group A to only see the test submissions of students in group A.
  
  Things to describe:
  operating system - linux
  version of ATutor - 1.5.3
  
  Any ideas?

  Ah, you want to hide tests in the test manager from the assistant. Can't do that if the assistant has test privileges.
