FTP SCORM PIF file and Import SCORM

With the current version of Atutor, is there a way to ftp a SCORM pif file to somewhere on the server, and then import the scorm package by pointing to the uploaded pif file? I am asking because there is always max size problems even though I tried changing the max_upload_filesize, and settings inside the course properties.

No external FTP, but you can import a SCORM SCO file using the Package Manager. Upload other files into the File Manager. Or, import content packages using Import Content, etc.

Check you max_upload settings. I've not heard of any problems with this setting before. Recheck the course max_size course properties, as an admin. Did you restart the webserver?

Re: FTP SCORM PIF file and Import SCORM

Where is all this Package manager and File Manager taht you guys are talking about? I am logged in a Super Admin and I cannot see any links to them. Also, I keep getting the following error "Field 'preferences' doesn't have a default valueDB Error" whenever I try creating a new course. I am using all default values.

If you are asking for help, provide lots of detail so problems can be reproduced.

    Things to describe:
    operating system -WinXP
    version of ATutor -1.5.5
    versions of php -5
    version of mysq l -5.0
    webserver & version -IIS5.1
copies of error messages - "Field 'preferences' doesn't have a default valueDB Error"
    changes to default settings -None
web browser being used - IE/Firefox
    and anything else relevant -

Please search through the documentations. We tend not to answer questions that are answered in the handbook and elsewhere.
