  Slow in Internet Explorer

  When I select a course as administrator, ATutor automatically logs me in as the instructor for the course. This takes over a minute when using Internet Explorer 6 or 7. However, it only takes a few seconds when using Firefox 2. Any idea why?
  
  server operating system - Suse Linux
  version of ATutor - 1.5.3.2
  version of PHP - 5
  version of mysql - 5
  webserver & version - Apache 2

  It could any number of problems, likely with the browser, or your perhaps your system. Maybe a virus. Admin to instructor for a course is almost instant on our local systems using IE. I'd suggest trying to reproduce this problem on a couple other systems, using IE, and other browsers.
