    About SMTP server

    Hello Greg, I want to know if Atutor works with Sendmail only or works with others Mail servers, If Atutor works with Sendmail only, where can I find information about Sendmail Installation[step by step] in Ubuntu 6.10?.

    You can use a local sendmail installation, or a remote sendmail installation by configuring it in the php.ini file.

    I'd guess Ubuntu comes with Sendmail by default. If you need information, I'd suggest visting the Ubuntu web site.

    If you don't have sendmail available to you then you can configure PHP to use SMTP instead. SMTP will let you use your ISP's mail server.
