    BLANK PAGE AFTER LOGIN

If you are asking for help, provide lots of detail so problems can be reproduced.

    Things to describe:
    operating system - WIN2k3 Server
    version of ATutor - 1.5.3.1
    versions of php - 5.1.4
    version of mysq l - 5.0.22
    webserver & version - Apache 2.0.58
    copies of error messages -
changes to default settings - Custom LDAP authentication
web browser being used - IE 6, 7, Firefox
    and anything else relevant -

For some reason, after logging onto my atutor system, i get a total blank page on the login.php page.

I have created custom ldap authentication to the system and it has been working perfectly for months. Now all of a sudden this blank page keeps coming up when any domain user of our windows Active Directory domain logs in.

I have noticed that even though i get a blank page after clicking submit on the login page, i can hit the back button on my browser, then click on "Browse Courses" and then i'm magically logged on. It appears the LDAP auth code is still working, its just not displaying the start page or the course home page if logging on directly to the course. Also, some users are reporting that they see the error "Session cookies must be enabled"

Any idea what may be happening? i'm not a PHP guru by any means, so any help whatsoever is appreciated,

    Thanks!
    Erik

    Re: BLANK PAGE AFTER LOGIN

Was the php or mysql upgraded recently?

    Re: BLANK PAGE AFTER LOGIN

Nothing has been upgraded at all. I have noticed though, that when logging in, it is not redirecting to ../users/index.php. It stays at login.php, which is probably why it shows a blank page.

I have been running the same version of everything (PHP, MySQL, Apache and ATutor) since October of last year, so i know versions are the same as before.

    Re: BLANK PAGE AFTER LOGIN

Without logging into your server to investigate, there's not much we do if all the sudden things stop working. Particularly with customized installations.

We have fee based services available for this type of support.
